We are required to update our Security Certificate at least once a year which was accomplished this month. Unfortunately, (we just found out) this security protocol does not work on older legacy operating systems. For iOS devices, you must be on at least Version 13 of iOS, or you will get an error when the application tries to access or update your database through our API. You can change the reference to the API in the settings screen in TrackIT Scan by changing the Web Api address to http:// … rather than https:// … and it will work but you will no longer be making updates over a secure connection.

It is highly recommended to update your hardware or iOS version as soon as possible to be able to use a secure connection.

TrackIT Scan version 5.2.1 is now available from the App Store. This version has updated scanning functionality for your device’s built in camera. It also corrects the issues that were noted from the previous release that came out last week.
